PURE OMEGA-3

PURE OMEGA-3 is a softgel supplement made from purified fish oil, naturally rich in the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. With Vitamin E. Omega-3 are polyunsaturated fats considered essential: some of these are components that our body does not produce, so it is essential to obtain them through our diet.

Their main sources are oily fish, such as anchovies, mackerel, salmon and sardines, which are particularly rich in the omega-3s EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Plant-based sources such as walnuts, flaxseeds and soya oil, on the other hand, are rich in ALA (alpha-linolenic acid). They are essential for the proper functioning of the body, and in particular for protecting the circulatory system, preventing cardiovascular diseases and also for normal brain development.

For this reason, and to prevent nutritional deficiencies, a daily intake of omega-3, properly balanced with omega-6, is fundamental for any type of diet. According to the latest revision of the LARN (Reference Intake Levels for Nutrients and Energy for the Italian Population), omega-3 intake should account for between 0.5 and 2% of daily energy requirements at any age.
