Purifies – Repairs – Moisturizing
It is an essential oil obtained from a plant found in Australia and New Zealand, Leptospermum scoparium, from the Myrtaceae family, known in the Maori language as 'Manuka'. This precious oil contains more than 100 active components, mainly of a terpene nature.
Many studies have looked at the potential benefits of this essential oil: in vitro studies have shown that Manuka essential oil has antibacterial activity (broad spectrum), antifungal activity against certain species (e.g. Candida albicans) and antiviral activity (e.g. on Herpes simplex).
The natural MANUKA cream can be used to treat skin conditions such as acne, eczema, itchy irritations and insect bites. It is also effective thanks to the presence of two other active ingredients: Tea Tree essential oil, also native to Australia and known for centuries for its antimicrobial and purifying properties, and aromatic Thyme water, known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
