Brewer's yeast is naturally rich in vitamins and minerals.
Brewer's yeast is obtained from microscopic unicellular fungi, cultivated in special bioreactors in which they multiply continuously, and is called "brewer's yeast" because it is a residue of the fermentation of this beverage. It is used extensively in cooking, especially for bread-making, or in vegetarian/vegan food as a yeast flake to give dishes a stronger flavour. LIEVITO DI BIRRA PURO is based on Brewer's Yeast only, a rich source of numerous nutrients, in particular proteins (45-55%) soluble fibres (mainly beta-glucans for 8%), vitamins, in particular of the B group, and minerals, in particular Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron. It is an excellent restorative, suitable for year-round consumption, but also in times of particular stress or intense physical activity.
