This precious oil contains more than 100 active components, mainly of a terpene nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many studies have looked at the potential benefits of this essential oil: in vitro studies have shown that Manuka essential oil has <\/span><strong>antibacterial activity<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (broad spectrum), <\/span><strong>antifungal activity<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> against certain species (e.g. Candida albicans) and <\/span><strong>antiviral activity<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (e.g. on Herpes simplex).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The natural MANUKA cream can be used to treat skin conditions such as acne, eczema, itchy irritations and insect bites.
