As a general rule, it is advisable to drink a couple of litres of low fixed residue natural mineral water every day. Alternatively, herbal infusions of mallow or camomile may also be useful.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style='font-weight: 400'>Choosing the right diet<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style='font-weight: 400'>It is important to avoid the consumption of irritating foods. In fact, some foods can irritate the urinary tract, in particular: alcohol, coffee, chocolate, chilli and other spices, milk and dairy products. It is also best to avoid sweets, sausages, sauces such as mayonnaise and ketch-ups. It may also help to consume foods that can acidify the urine, such as lemon and blueberries, and to consume soups.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style='font-weight: 400'>Taking care of the genital apparatus and intimate hygiene<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style='font-weight: 400'>It is important to wear clothes with natural fabrics, avoiding synthetics, preferably undyed cotton, avoid tight clothing, observe careful daily intimate hygiene, paying attention to the choice of suitable and gentle products, especially during menstruation, before and after sexual intercourse. It would be useful to avoid tampons and the use of diaphragms as contraceptives.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style='font-weight: 400'>Food supplements: Cranberry&nbsp;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style='font-weight: 400'>Cranberry can play a preventive role and help fight cystitis, either in the form of juice or as a dietary supplement.
